Tootal Fabrics (Holland) B.V., as full member of the Better Cotton Initiative, is proud to announce that its full comprehensive product range of cotton and cotton blends can be offered with BCI credits. This, with the exception of our GOTS and OCS certified product range. Keep in mind, BCI credits (BCCUs) can only be provided upon corresponding membership of BCI.

Why order fabrics with BCCUs?

Buying fabrics with BCCUs means that you are supporting an initiative that improves the farming conditions of cotton globally, supports worker’s wages and reduces chemical treatments. As BCI member we support BCI certified farmers, and it enables us to purchase raw material from these farmers and contribute to a lower impact on the environment.

Certified sustainable collection

We are certified by and comply with the worldwide recognized standards: GOTS, GRS and OCS. Beside these certifications we are member of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). Our whole sustainable supply chain is monitored by these organizations to ensure that highest standards are kept year after year by Tootal Fabrics (Holland) B.V. 

Article numbers

To distinguish our sustainable articles from our regular fabrics, we use extensions placed between the article number and colour number, representing the type of certificate.

• Article 1021.01.20001 becomes 1021.70.20001 GOTS.
• Article 0480.01.20001 becomes 0480.71.20001 OCS.
• Article 9037.01.90001 becomes 9037.72.90001 GRS.
• Article 8336.01.90001 becomes 8336.73.90001 OCS+GRS.

Colour cards

Our collection cards will show a green symbol indicating we also offer a sustainable version of those fabrics. The quality, weight and colour of our certified sustainable fabrics may vary due to the nature of organic cotton, the character of recycled polyester and production processes.
